Background
Since 2010 UNIT4 Agresso and Nordic Edge have been cooperating to make the ERP system Agresso Business World (Agresso) available as a Cloud Service. UNIT4 Agresso is one of Europe’s largest suppliers of business software. Nordic Edge is providing technology to make it easy for customers who wants to shift to Cloud Services. Nordic Edge has among other things added Single Sign-on to automate login to Agresso as a Service.
Combined solution as a Cloud Service
The solution, Opacus for Agresso was launched in early 2011 and Södertörn University is one of the first customers to use the combined solution as a Cloud Service.
Nordic Edge’s Opacus Solution for Cloud Services can be integrated with Intel® Expressway Cloud Access 360, which provides a Platform to Federate Cloud Applications. The technology is based on Open Standards with SAML and can be used for both local installation of Agresso and Agresso as a Service.
Opacus for Agresso makes it easy to interact safely
To use Agresso as a Cloud Service has many incentives for the customer. Instead of investing in technology platforms and training technical personnel, customers can quickly start working with the business system. The saving, safety and availability compared to a local installation is significant. Opacus for Agresso brings three major benefits: to simplify the user administration for the IT and finance departments (User Provisioning), automate login for the end user (Single Sign-on) and secure it with two-factor authentication, for example delivering OTP via SMS to the mobile phone (Secure Login).
